I have a group project for my Women' Studies class. It's funny because I don't really like group projects. Yet, my future career (I'm hoping), is mainly one huge, group project after another. Yikes. Anyway, it's going to be okay. Thankfully, the people in my group seem like really nice people.
Remember that guy I wrote about when I bought a Jones's soda, and he was outside the store talking to a girl, and then we made eye contact for a second? The guy that looks like a Calvin Klein model? Yesterday, he snuck up behind me sort of--he really came out of nowhere--at the dining center, and put his tray beside mine at the sandwich bar. I was getting pickle slices for my sandwich, and he was getting mustard. Haha. That whole moment was just surprising and spontaneous and beautiful. And the funny thing is, I never make sandwiches at the dining center.
Mom's birthday was this past weekend. Mom, Dad, Kuya, and Grandma all went down to Pechanga for a day and had a good time. Everyone broke even except for Dad who won $200. I'm glad everyone had a good time without me. If I had been at home, they probably would not have gone since I'm not old enough to gamble. That or they probably would have gone and left me at home. Either way, it doesn't matter.
Bought my ticket. I'm going home next Friday!! Exciting. I need some sunny weather. Not that it's not sunny here, it's just that it's still cold and windy even with the sun out.
I'm organizing my iTunes library. It's taking a long time! I've got something like 1,210 songs, and that's not even all my cds. It's funny how I have these cds that I don't even listen to anymore, and I used to think, when I first got them, "I am so going to listen to these forever!!!" And then it's not even true. Or maybe I'm just not in the mood. I don't know which one...
in the ipod:
"knock yourself out" by jon brion--from I Heart Huckabees
"lux aeterna" by clint mansell (featuring kronos quartet)--from Requiem for a Dream
