a quick post

I have a new friend! And he's a boy! Haha. I met C. at French club. He introduced himself to me at the first meeting, and at the second meeting we sat together. Today was out third meeting, and we were sharing French songs in front of everybody. We both brought our ipods, so we traded ipods and looked at each other's bands. It was neat and awkward (for me).

Afterwards, he was interested in seeing what the dorms looked like (he lives in an apartment). He apologized for being so straightforward, and I said that it was okay, and I took him to my room. Thank God, L. was there to diffuse some of the awkwardness. We all talked about school, living in san fran, and films. He's a film major but might change into a French major.

Later, I walked him out of the building, and we kept talking about stuff. He asked if I knew a lot of people, and I told him the truth--that I wasn't social, that I don't drink (don't even want to), and that I don't go to parties, and he was nice about it. We exchanged numbers, and he wants us to get together to watch movies. Actually, tomorrow he's coming over and bringing "Les Choristes".

He's a nice guy. He's really quiet when he talks. He's tall and skinny and has black hair that sweeps over his forehead. He kinda reminds me of an asian Wes Anderson. His clothes are kinda fitted, and he wears glasses. It's cool to make a new friend though.

it was funny because he had some bands that i had. he had bjork, damien rice, and some other artists i can't think of right now. those are the two i remember. oh, he also had the garden state soundtrack.

i have tons of stuff on my ipod--a huge variety of things. lots of random stuff too, like movie quotes. he was also looking at my 'artist' section, and he asked what was in "The Conan O'Brien Show", and i told him that they were just a bunch of Conan quotes and dialogue.

haha. you had to google Wes Anderson...

everything conan says is funny to me..like when he says, "Hello, my babies!" i love how he's so self-deprecating.
