Pope John Paul II died yesterday. He was a good Pope, a great leader in Catholicism, and yet many non-Roman Catholics also looked up to him. I wanted to go to Rome some day and see him, but looks like I'll just see the next Pope.
NOTE FOR CATHERINE: Hey, I posted a comment in your blog, but for some reason it doesn't come up. But if you go to the post I posted under "I hope this doesn't get erased" I think it's called, and click on "0 comments" and then "Post a Comment" and stuff, you'll see my comment there. So weird. Ugh. Anyway, there you go. I didn't want you to think that I don't read your blog, because I do.
This is going to sound so dorky, so please don't laugh. Well, you can laugh, just don't tell me you laughed. I'm sending some fan mail to Jean-Baptiste Maunier. He's this kid in the film "Les Choristes", and he's the main soloist on the soundtrack. He just has the most amazing voice!!! So, I'm sending him this letter of accolades...and a Polaroid picture of me smiling. I KNOW, I KNOW!!! That's so dorky! My brother took it for me. He has no idea what it's for though, I didn't tell him. Anyway, I put in the picture so he knows what I look like. God, is that crazy? I hope he won't think I'm nutso. If he does, who cares anyway, maybe I am nutso. I'm nutso, I'm just going to admit it. I'm mailing it on Tuesday.
This girl from our speech class came to Mass with us. She's really nice and very talkative and always happy. I like her though, but I think I can only be with her in small doses. She's like a can of Red Bull. Seriously. She wants to come to Mass with us every week now, and I'm okay with that. It's nice to listen to her and not talk at all.
in the ipod:
1. "hello tomorrow" by yeah yeah yeahs (from that cool Spike Jonze Adidas commercial about the intelligent shoe)
2. "lovefool" by the cardigans
3. "bad thoughts" by the skyflakes
4. "nothing better" by the postal service
top places I want to travel to:
1. France
2. New York
3. Rome
4. Germany
5. Prague

you're welcome. thanks for not calling me a dork!
i actually don't know what it means...it's just something that's added to emphasize feeling, i guess. slang almost.it just adds...flavor. haha. roughly translated, "joke naman" almost means, "it's only a joke! come on!" haha.
thanks for calling me brave!! i have to agree, that really is brave of me. haha. he's 14. i'm not in love with him or anything, i'm just astounded by his talent. haha. (although i might have a crush on him when he's old enough)
